The FP7 National Information Point of Ukraine (NIP), Ministry of Education and Science, Academy of Science of Ukraine together with Transborder Centre for Scientific Cooperation of Uzhhorod National University are jointly organising this thematic workshop Developing of National Technological Platform(s) (NTP(s) in Ukraine: Agro-Food-Platform on 12th of May, 2010, in Uzhhorod, Ukraine. The thematic workshop is aimed to support the activity directed to the official launching of National Technological Platform “Food for Life” in Ukraine. The European Technology Platform (ETP) “Food for Life”, www.etp.ciaa.eu, currently includes 35 National Food Platforms (either already launched officially or in the process of being launched). These platforms (http://etp.ciaa.be/asp/nat_food_platforms/nat_foodplatforms.asp) represent a valuable means of networking stakeholder communities at the national level and providing an efficient channel for two way communication with the ETP.

The FP7 National Information Point Ukraine (NIP), the EU funded project “Joint Support Office (JSO) for enhancing Ukraine’s integration in EU research area” and the FP7 NIP-Ukraine Regional Contact Point at the Uzhhorod National University will jointly organise the InfoDay “The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) on research and technology development: opportunities for Ukrainian research community” in Uzhhorod (http://cstei.lviv.ua/en/item/444). This event will be conducted by international EU experts knowledgeable about the FP7 rules, procedures and best practice in project proposal preparation. Relevant consultancy will be offered after the morning presentations in order to guide applicants through the proposal drafting and submission process.

And also a Consultation day “The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) on research and technology development: opportunities for Ukrainian research community” which will be as brokerage event day, oriented on Real (potential) Consortium (s) Creation, valuable (reliable, appropriate) Partner searching for the arising of the successful proposal submission – mainly in FAB ('Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Biotechnology') and ‘Environment (including climate change)’ priorities (http://cstei.lviv.ua/en/item/445).
